Short bio:

My wife and I moved to Roanoke in 2007. We are teachers at Patrick Henry High School and also own and operate Blacksnake Meadery in Carroll County. We make honey wine from honey from our own bees raised here in Roanoke and surrounding areas. Our original intent was to use our home and jobs in Roanoke to help transition us to full-time at the Meadery, but have since fallen in love with Roanoke and want to make it our permanent home.
