Short bio:

I was born in Roanoke County and attended Cave Spring High School. I graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2006 with a degree in Corporate Finance & Investments. In 2010 I started running Mattress Depot, which is our family's business, we have 5 locations in and around Roanoke. My wife graduated from UVA and is a financial advisor with UBS Financial, located in the Wachovia building. We currently live in Roanoke City with our two dogs, Banjo & Fiddle. We enjoy travel, backpacking, kayaking, cooking, music, photography, spending time with family, and the arts. We are both advocates of everything local, wether it be food, business, or music. We chose to live in Roanoke after graduating college because we wanted to be part of something special, we want to help Roanoke grow and become the wonderful city it has the potential to be.
